For Soprano (or Tenor) String Quartet and Double Bass.  Für Meinen Vater (For My Father) was commissioned in 2019 by Music Kitchen, founded by violinist Kelly Hall-Tompkins, who has brought chamber music to people nationwide who experience homelessness. The commission was the Food for the Soul, Song Cycle project, in celebration of the 100th concert and 15th season, featuring text by homeless shelter clients.  It premiered at Carnegie Hall on April 22nd, 2022.
